Pretty much every spring I go through about a week or two photographing flowers. Sure, that may be the most cliche thing on earth, but hey, flowers are pretty, fun, and most of all accessible. I also happen to live in a neighborhood with tons of varieties in about a three block radius.
So even if these images are mostly for me, I still get a good deal of enjoyment from them anyway. Having a digital camera with a halfway decent macro feature doesn't hurt!
