This isn’t going to be an overly long post. I’m catching up on scanning this afternoon and this particular image stood out as a favorite for the day. So I felt like posting it!
I photographed this image during my month long trip to the California Bay Area in 2019. Given everything that has happened in the world that feels like it was a lifetime ago. It was only a year and a half ago and yet the entire world feels like a different place now.
I’m still quite pleased with all the photographs I made on this particular day though. I think I ran through about ten rolls of film and it feels like the gift that keeps on giving. Roll after roll after roll contains at least four or five frames that I’m completely enamored with.
