I'm noticing that once again there is a distinct lack of color film going on in this blog. That shouldn't be shocking for anyone who follows my work but never-the-less it is time to make a correction.
I kind of wish I would have photographed this image on Kodak Ektar as opposed to Kodak Portra. Ektar is by far a bolder film when it comes to color saturation. Since I consider this image to be a bit more of a landscape than I nude I think the overall look would have benefited from some punchier colors. But alas, Kodak Portra was what I had on hand when I made the image so this is the result I have to live with. Still, I love the texture of the water and the reflections so I still consider it a successful image in its own right.
